This building is leased to the County of Riverside for the administrative functions of their Department of Child Support Services and the Department of Environmental Health. The Department of Child Support Services provides a variety of child support services. These services help custodial and noncustodial parents in supporting their children. The Department of Environmental Health is split into three divisions: the District Environmental Services Division (DES); the Environmental Resource Management Division (ERM) and the Hazardous Materials Management Division (HMMD). The DES Division has regulatory control over all food and restaurant based programs, the food worker card exam, pools and spas, vector control and residential trash and sewage complaints. The ERM Division has regulatory control over a number of land use and water system based programs and HMMD is responsible for regulating hazardous materials business plans and chemical inventory, hazardous waste and tiered permitting, underground storage tanks, and risk management plans.
